DJs Production Assistants

Now Hiring DJs — Los Angeles / Orange County We're looking to add two DJs to our team. We’re a boutique DJ company specializing in upscale weddings, private events, and non-cheesy music. We’re looking for people who are professional, personable, comfortable talking to guests, and genuinely love music. You do not need to be a fully trained DJ already - however if you have DJ experience with Private Events / Weddings that's a huge plus. But more so we're looking for the right personality, work ethic, and interest in music, we can teach you the rest. Pay Training / Assistant Rate: $200 per event day DJ Starting Rate: $700 per event DJ Official Rate - $1000 - $1400 per event You'll start off training alongside our lead DJs at real events and learn how to: Set up and tear down speakers, microphones, turntables, and DJ equipment Assist the lead DJ throughout the event Understand event flow, timing, and production needs Work professionally with planners, venue teams, clients, and guests Communicate clearly and respond reliably via email Once trained as a DJ, responsibilities include: DJing events using playlists, turntables, and live mixing Making simple, polished announcements on the mic Reading the room and keeping the dance floor moving Communicating with clients before events Being calm, professional, friendly, and easy to work with Requirements Must be based in LA County or Orange County Must be available on weekends Must be punctual, reliable, and responsive Must have a clean, presentable vehicle capable of transporting equipment — small SUV, hatchback, truck, wagon, or larger sedan preferred Must be comfortable working long event days and representing the company professionally If you’re someone who loves music, enjoys being around people, and wants to DJ real events the right way, we’d love to hear from you. Corporate Audio-Visual Private Event/Dj Services Salesperson

Blue Line Productions (www.BlueLineProductions.com) seeks a new CORPORATE AUDIO-VISUAL, PRIVATE EVENT SERVICES SALESPERSON. (Do not answer this ad if you are looking for tech or other work, sales only. Others will be deleted.). We specialize in CORPORATE AND PRIVATE EVENTS. Founded in 2011, we have done thousands of events and have relationships with numerous high-end venues and clients. We have considerable resources and are looking for someone WITH RELEVANT CONNECTIONS OR EXPERIENCE that can help us expand. Relevant Experience includes, but is not limited to: • Previous work in a similar sales position • Previous work as staff at a venue, institution or other entity that can generate sales • Previous work as or representing an event service vendor • Previous work in a field that has provides an active list of relevant connections • A developed base of potential clients for private parties or corporate events You will be expected to GENERATE YOUR OWN LEADS. If you are unable or unwilling to generate leads and/or do not have established connections, this is not the position for you. If you have leads or believe you will be able to generate them, this could be an exciting opportunity. Services Provided by Blue Line Productions Include: Sound (Speakers, Microphones, Recording, Mixing, Etc.) Screens (TV, Projector, Video Wall, Etc.) Lighting (Up Lighting, Stage Lighting, Fashion, Static, Controlled, Etc.) Video (Single Camera, Mult-Camera, Editing, Etc.) Staging (Stage, Pipe & Drape, Truss, Etc.) Live/Online Conference Hybrids (Zoom, Etc.) DJ Parties (Weddings, Mitzvahs, Corporate Events, Etc.) Photography & Photo Booths Outdoor Concerts & Other Outdoor Event Logistics, Planning & Other Services Compensation for sales will be COMMISSION BASED. There may be other incentives and perks for the appropriate individual. Our current target range is NY, NJ, and parts of PA. We are open to exploring other areas, particularly toward Nashville or Florida, under the right conditions. Event gross ranges from about $1,500 to above $50,000, with the average one-day audio-visual event expecting to come in between twenty-five hundred and twenty-five thousand, gross. Much of this position can be done from anywhere. However, in-person meetings and on-site appearances may be required if sales are generated. Due to this fact, candidates must be able and willing to physically appear in NYC and Wayne, NJ with reasonable ease if/when necessary. We try to keep things friendly and sometimes have activities that are not completely work related. They are not required, but if you work with us, you will be invited.
